The Grand Targhee Ski & Snowboard Foundation offers year-round ski and snowboard education, training in discipline, mountain safety awareness, and competitive opportunities for young people in Teton Valley.
Our programs provide exceptional snow sports training for Teton Valley youth, allowing each participant to achieve their full athletic potential while also building strong personal character through good sportsmanship, strong values, and individual goals.
We are dedicated to assisting skiers and snowboarders in achieving their objectives. Throughout the year, we organize training sessions and competitions in collaboration with various organizations, such as the US Ski & Snowboard Intermountain Division Alpine and Cross Country Races, Jackson Hole Club Series Race Events, International Freeskiing Association Ski & Snowboard competitions, and United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association events. Additionally, we host several preseason and offseason events for families and athletes.

Our Mission

Grand Targhee Ski and Snowboard Foundation’s (GTSSF) mission is to provide affordable ski and snowboard programs for young athletes to meet their individual potential for excellence through education and opportunity for competition.

Our vision is to inspire future stewards of the mountains to pursue personal development and engagement in the community by providing sustainable, affordable access to all athletes and their families.

Competitive Highlights

 

193 top 10 finishes for GTSSF this season. 110 athletes attended 52 competitions. 39 athletes competed for the first time. 54% of all GTSSF athletes competed in at least one competition.

Intro Program – There is greater interest in the program from young skiers. Significant growth in this program.
